A canceled wedding. A warm reunion. This is the story of Alex and Emma.
Along with her two best friends, Emma leaves New York City and travels to California with the firm intention of spending her vacation with a cocktail in hand, under the sun, on the warm beaches of the coast. A perfect plan. Or at least it was until she ran into Alex, the guy who not only broke her heart but also stood her up a week before walking down the aisle to say "I do."
Unfortunately, Alex is still irresistible. And, although Emma has a weakness for his blue eyes and mischievous smile, she's not willing to fall for him again. Everything is in the past. He is in the past. That's how things should be. The problem is that "wanting" is not always enough and sometimes there are memories that weigh too heavily.
